Ubisoft reorganizes its entire Esports division.
Starting this year, Ubisoft decided to reorganize the entire export department, creating “Esports and Competitive Gaming“, a global team that will have the task of carrying forward the company’s mission in the future of this sector and making a contribution to its evolution.
François-Xavier Denieland was appointed Senior Director, Esports and Competitive Gaming, after spending six years at the heart of Ubisoft’s strategic activities in this field. His job will be to oversee all aspects of esports and competitive games and will direct the team in all strategic opportunities related to this sector.
“We are proud of the achievements of our teams in the past years in all countries and of the goals we have achieved with our catalog, making it competitive in such a short period of time,” said François-Xavier Deniele. “We will now focus on 2022 and the future, strengthening the industry as a fundamental pillar of Ubisoft’s culture; our streamlined internal organization allows us great agility that benefits from the competitive ecosystem of Ubisoft’s portfolio.”
Within this strategic mission, some of the main areas on which we will focus in the coming months and years will be the return to events with live audiences, as soon as the situation allows, without forgetting the numerous investments for an exponentially growing sector. .
