Ciudad Juárez.- The Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) announced the integration of 13 students from Argentina, Colombia, Spain and Peru, who join the institution in person.
Juan Ignacio Camargo Nassar, rector of the UACJ, highlighted that each semester the UACJ opens its educational offering to the international community, allowing students from various parts of the world to carry out academic and research stays. To welcome these new members, the university authorities organized an event at the UACJ rectory, calling on the students at 1:00 p.m. During the meeting, the students received attention and heard testimonies about their experiences in the first weeks of their stay at the border. Camargo Nassar urged the exchange students to enjoy their experience in the city. He mentioned that Ciudad Juárez is a generous place, with warm and hard-working people. “Enjoy your stay in the city and at the University; “We have achieved academic quality in our programs and improved our facilities, in addition to having a presence in art and culture,” highlighted the rector. The exchange students also shared their experiences. Jhon Faber Julio, from the Simón Bolívar University in Barranquilla, Colombia, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to study at the UACJ. “It has been a pleasure to be here and I hope to make the most of this experience,” he commented. María Juliana Calvo, who arrives from the National Pedagogical University of Colombia, spoke about the importance of continuing her degree in Music on this border. “The UACJ always resolved my doubts and provided me with the necessary information. “My family is very confident, and I hope this is possible for many colleagues in my career,” he said. Each UACJ institute is prepared to receive exchange students in person. Additionally, in the August-December 2024 semester, the arrival of 78 students is expected in virtual mode, of which 8 come from national institutions and 70 from various international institutions, including countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. .
