Two freight trains collided on the Aleur-Bushuley stretch in the Trans-Baikal Territory. It is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Trans-Baikal Railway (ZabZhD, a branch of the Russian Railways).
The incident occurred on August 4 at 04:40 local time (August 3 at 22:40 Moscow time). The freight train collided with the tail section in front of the train. Because of this, 10 cars of both trains derailed. Also, the size of the adjacent track is violated.
As a result of the incident, no one was injured. Traffic on the stretch is temporarily suspended. Delay of passenger trains is expected.
