The shooting took place in a residential complex in the suburbs of Milwaukee – Brown Deer (Wisconsin, USA), as a result of which two people were killed and two more were injured. On Saturday, February 5, reports New York Post.
Brown Deer police chief Peter Nimmer said one of the wounded was in hospital in critical condition.
The second victim is the suspect in the shooting himself. He has also been hospitalized and is in custody. There is no information about his condition.
Nimmer said the suspect fired at police from the second floor of the Park Plaza apartment complex as officers drove up to the building to respond to a call about a “possible victim in the parking lot.” None of the law enforcement officers were injured.
Police did not release the names or ages of the victims, but said no children were hurt. Also, the department does not have a motive for the shooting.
Earlier that day, a shooting took place at a church in a suburb of Denver, Colorado, killing one person and injuring two others.
