Two people die and two more were poisoned inside a storm drain in the city of Aguascalientesthis morning, Wednesday, May 8.

The Municipal Police confirmed that Civil Protection rescued two people alive from the storm sewer but with carbon monoxide poisoning, to the east of the city, specifically at the intersection of Aguascalientes and Alameda avenues.

The intoxicated people are a 27-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, the Municipal Police detailed, they were taken to receive medical attention.

The bodies of two people were also recovered. who were not identified, it was preliminarily reported that their death was caused by intoxication.

The four people are street residents. Although it was initially reported that the accident occurred due to a grass fire near the area where the large sewer drains, the Municipal Police points out that the people They were stealing copper cable and started a fire.
