Two mountaineers, both residents of Valle D’Aosta, were recovered lifeless by mountain rescue on the ridge that divides the east and north faces of Mount Zerbion in Valle D’Aosta. The searches started from the report of no return and required the use of three helicopters. The recognition operations are entrusted to the mountain rescue of the Guardia di Finanza of Cervinia.
