Twelve Minutes, till now exclusive Xbox, has a very close proximity release date on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. It was announced Annapurna Interactive and the developer Luis Antonio, who shared the launch date of the title on non-Microsoft consoles.
Twelve Minutes will arrive on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch on December 7, 2021, in a few weeks. The debut will also allow players in possession of the other platforms to get their hands on thegraphic adventure released last August 19th.
The period of time spent as an Xbox and PC exclusive did not, therefore, last long. The release of Twelve Minutes catapult fans inside a time loop which seems infinite, a real trap from which you will have to get out by solving the mysteries related to a murder.
The entire graphic adventure takes place within a apartment, with a visual from above (as if the players were stationed on the ceiling of the environment), and an unusual but very refined style. The announcement of the launch on PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch was accompanied by a trailer which collects the votes of critics, all exceptionally high, and a sequence of frames to tell spectators the type of game.
It is therefore possible to see the apartment that will frame the story and a series of characters, including the living, murdered and prisoners, who alternate in the unusual temporal story. For those who don’t know Twelve Minutes, the loop told by Annapurna Interactive, our review is online.
In addition to the work of Luis Antonio, in 2021 several titles were released that have a loop as the “protagonist” of the plot, and that involve players in adventures outside the box, with repetitive events and endless nightmares from which we must get out.
Returnal, Loop Hero, Deathloop And Lemnis Gate they are all games that have 2021 as their release date and that, together with Twelve Minutes, transform the videogame world into an unusual alternation of events.
