“There is no way in the future to starve or abuse the Tunisian people,” Tunisian President Kais Saied said while receiving the new Prime Minister Najla Boden at the Carthage Palace, during a meeting with the Prime Minister on Wednesday.
During this meeting, the points on the agenda of the Ministerial Council, which will be held on Thursday, were discussed.
The head of state stressed the need for cohesion and integration of government work, and called for the need to reduce prices and resort to pricing and to address all forms of speculation and monopoly by available legal means.
He also called for the relevant authorities to play their full role in confronting all abuses and resisting corruption, stressing that there is no room in the future for starving or harassing the Tunisian people.
This meeting was also an occasion to discuss a number of other files related to public finance, in particular, and ways to find the necessary balances so that the wheels of the state can run normally and work in the framework of transparency and clarity.
