Mourad al-Obeidi, a member of Ghannouchi’s defense and his deputy in the Ennahda movement, Ali al-Arayedh, confirmed that the prosecution officially rejected the demand made by the authority to postpone the hearing of Ghannouchi before “the national unity for terrorist crimes and organized crimes that threaten the integrity of the national territory”, at the Bouchoucha barracks in the capital, Tunis, while it became Known in the media as the “Deportation to Hotspots” file.
On the other hand, a member of the Defense Department, Mukhtar Al-Jamaa’i, announced in a Facebook post, the end of listening to Al-Areedh by the prosecution.
Al-Jamaa’i revealed that “after signing the report, the Public Prosecution will review it to determine the legal status of it.”
