In the rerun of the presidential elections in 2019, the turnout rate was 55 percent.
The preliminary results are expected to be announced tomorrow evening, Monday.
Tunisian television reported on Sunday that an opinion poll after voters left the polling stations showed President Kais Saied winning the presidential elections by 89.2 percent.
According to estimates by the “Sigma Konsei” Foundation, which were shown on the official First National Channel, Saeed may obtain 89.2 percent of the votes, compared to 6.9 percent for Ayachi Zamal and 3.9 percent for Zuhair Al-Maghzaoui.
If the results are confirmed, there will be no runoff.
Saied was elected with approximately 73 percent of the votes in 2019.
