MotoE, Tulovic is better
When he was left lifeless leaving Bucine, silence fell on the Mugello circuit. Lukas Tulovic he was unconscious for several minutes after the crash in race 1 of the MotoE: an accident which, also due to the dangerous position of the rider and the medical car, caused the race to be interrupted.
Only the message from the race direction “Driver conscious” gave the paddock a breather. Tulovic – who had qualified in second place and was in the leading group – regained consciousness but was transferred to the medical center and then airlifted to the Careggi Hospital for the necessary checks. Here they diagnosed him with a small perforation of a lung (bilateral pneumothorax) and a concussion, as well as a contusion on his neck.

Luckily Tulovic is better and will return home today. These are the first words of the German, contacted by his compatriots Motorsport-Total: “Unfortunately I can’t say anything about the race because I don’t remember anything. However, it is very annoying how it ended. The good thing is that now I have a few weeks to recover: I want to return to Assen”.
Tulovic will have time to recover and could really get back on track in Holland. The Assen weekend is in fact scheduled for four weeks: the electric motorbikes will return to the track on 28-29 June.
