The incumbent President of the United States, Donald Trump, has pledged an orderly transfer of power to President-elect Joe Biden after the US Congress confirmed his victory in the presidential election, FOX News reported.

“Although I absolutely disagree with the result of the elections, and the facts confirm my version, nevertheless there will be an orderly transfer of power on January 20,” the TV channel quoted the head of state as saying.

He stressed that he will continue the political struggle – both to ensure that only the votes cast by law are counted, and for “making America great again.”
