Maximum equality between Kamala Harris and donald trump ten days from the presidential elections in the United States. The difference between both candidates has been reduced to just one tenth in the average of surveys national level published by the specialized website RealClearPolitics. Specifically, the vice president and Democratic candidate has 48.4% voting intention, while the former Republican president follows closely with 48.3%, underpinning the Trump’s upward trend.
This average of polls includes the last one prepared by The New York Times and Siena College, which indicates a total tie between the two candidates for the White House, both with 48%. This represents a setback for Kamala Harris, since in the previous survey she had a three-point advantage, 49% to 46%, over her opponent.
Also included in this average is a CNN poll that also gives a tie, in this case with 47% for each. In his previous poll, from September, he gave Harris a slight advantage (48% to 47%).
In recent days, the vice president has tried to attract a part of the voters with university education from the suburbs of cities who may feel rejection by Trump’s proposals and messages. However, with this strategy he runs the risk of distancing himself from the most left-wing sector of the Democratic electorate, as some within his own party warn.
To regain ground, prominent figures are trying to lend a hand, such as former President Barack Obama or the singer Beyoncé, who they asked for the vote for her this Friday at rallies in North Carolina and Texas, respectively.
