The elected president of the United States, donald trumpannounced this Friday the appointment of Steven Cheung as advisor to the president and director of White House Communications.
Through a statement, Trump reported the appointment of his former communications director for his presidential campaign. In the previous Republican government (2017-2021), Cheung worked as director of strategic response.
It is not yet known who will serve as White House spokesperson.one of the most visible faces of the US Government. In the same statement, Trump announced the appointment of Sergio Gor as assistant to the president and director of the presidential personnel office.
Previously, Gor was CEO of Winning Team Publishingwhile also directing Right For Americaa fundraising committee for the Trump campaign.
“Trusted” advisors
“Steven Cheung and Sergio Gor have been trusted advisors since my first presidential campaign in 2016and have continued to defend the principles of America First during my first term, until our historic victory in 2024,” Trump said.
The future president has announced in recent days a twenty appointments of who will be the members of his Government. Among them that of Marco Rubio as Secretary of State; Defense, Pete Hegseth; and National Security, Kristi Noem; in addition to tycoon Elon Musk for a new government efficiency office.
The Republican has also placed Susie Wiles as his chief of staff, John Ratcliffe as director of the CIA, Sliese Stefanik as ambassador to the UN Tom Homan as border czar.
