At the salon Eicma in Milan, from 23 to 28 November, the electric motorcycle will also be presented in Italy Tromox Ukko, of Chinese origin and approved as L3. It will be in dealerships starting February 2022, at a price of 6,550 euros: it is equipped with a 72 V (55 Ah) Ezgo battery that pushes the bike up to 100 km / h of maximum speed. It is equivalent to a thermal 125 cc, with a 4 kW electric motor that delivers a torque of 203 Nm. The total recharge times, declared by the manufacturer, are 3 hours; 80% can be reached in 45 minutes.
The bike is interesting from a technical point of view, with an aluminum frame, 13-inch wheels, motorcycle chassis (fork and central shock absorber), seat 780 mm high from the ground, three engine maps, standard cruise control, TFT display, Led headlights, smart key and on-board camera. A nice concentrate of technology, to which ABS is also added with an extra 250 euros. The GPS is fully integrated, just like the connectivity is absolutely integrated: a digital native that allows the motorcyclist to keep the parameters under control thanks to a dedicated smartphone application.
Three colors will be available for Italy: blue / lime green on a silver base; silver / orange and silver / black. Tromox is not an absolutely new brand: he has already presented himself with the Mino, a minibike that immediately became popular in Asia. Ukko is none other than the older sister of that model.
Tromox Ukko has already been previewed at the show China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition in Beijing, just under a month ago. It will arrive in our country thanks to City Coco Italia, the exclusive local distributor. Even for two-wheelers, China’s efforts to achieve parity of consideration with European and American two-wheelers, which already enjoy a trust gained over time, cannot be denied.
