The former striker was called 8 days ago to lead the Primavera team: “Some comments that recalled my legal events led me to take this decision, albeit unrelated to football”
Fabrizio Miccoli resigned as coach of the Triestina Primavera, a role he was entrusted with just 8 days ago. It is the former Palermo striker himself to tell the reason for his choice which would seem to have to do with the past judicial events.
Miccoli specified his gesture in a long text. “With great regret and displeasure, I announce that I have resigned from the position of collaborator of the US Triestina Calcio 1918 Primavera team, after a close confrontation with the owners. I had welcomed with great love the proposal received from a historic, glorious and famous club like Triestina, immediately lavishing all my experience gained over the years on the field as a player with the youngest players, however, some comments that recalled my stories judicial authorities led me to take this decision, albeit unrelated to football. I did it for the love of football and that is my job, so as not to give anybody the chance to rage or point at this Club, jersey and fan ownership. I wish Triestina, all the people who are part of it and their fans the best fortunes. Once again I am here first to pay my share ”.
