The Church of San Lorenzo hosted the presentation on a day in which the Nazarene was also honored and the Virgin of Fuensanta received a new rostrillo
An intense day on Saturday for Murcian traditions, with several acts in which Holy Week and the patron saint were protagonists. The morning began with the delivery, at the Cathedral Museum, of a new rostrillo to the Virgen de la Fuensanta, a gift made by the Brotherhood of the Knights of Fuensanta.
Subsequently, and organized by the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías de Murcia, the traditional homage to the Murcian Nazarene took place, with the placement of a laurel wreath on the sculpture erected in the Glorieta de España, which was attended by numerous personalities.
At noon, the activity focused on the church of San Lorenzo, where also organized by the Cabildo, the new issue of the Magazine was presented, which this year focuses on the sculptural groups of the different brotherhoods that parade during Passion Week through the streets of Murcia, explained its presenter, Álvaro Hernández. “These are works that narrate a story in which we citizens are participants,” he said.
