Our rider, Muhammad Shafi Al-Rumaithi, won with the mare “Karamba” in the most important competitions on the closing day with the specifications of one round over the 140 cm hurdles, in which 13 riders competed, of whom 6 riders succeeded in completing the round without error, and Al-Rumaithi topped them with the best time, reaching 50.43 seconds, and it came back. To the forefront is the Norwegian horsewoman Anita Sande on the back of her horse “For Cash 2” (18 years old), and she finished the round with him in 55.98 seconds, and our horseman Ali Khalfan Al-Jahouri won the third place award with the horse “Altica De Forte”, with a time of 58.49 seconds.
Muhammad Shafi Al Rumaithi with the horse “Capshur” also achieved victory over the 130 cm hurdles to complete a hat-trick in the Sustainable Championship (2024), and the Norwegian horsewoman Anita Sande kept the second place award, which she won this time with the horse “Kwatja”, and the third place award went to the Romanian Maryam Al-Batoul. British equestrian Evie McCoy took the lead with the horse “Cocktail d’Azur”, in the two-stage competition over 130 cm hurdles, with the participation of 31 male and female riders. Evie finished the two stages without a mistake among 10 riders, and led them by the time difference, recording 21.35 seconds in the second stage, and was crowned second place. The Iranian Ali Aziznia with the horse “Lamara” finished the second stage in 21.44 seconds, and the third place award was won by the Syrian jockey Muhammad Fadi Al-Zubaibi with the horse “Chanel Boy” with a time of 21.7 seconds.
The Uzbekistani rider Bakhramjon Gaziev, riding his horse “Ladi”, achieved the lead in the one-round competition over the 125 cm hurdles, with the participation of 40 riders, 11 of whom succeeded in completing the round without error, in which he recorded the best time of 60.61 seconds, and the Bahraini Ahmed Abdul Karim Al-Jahromi won the second place award. With the horse “Vivario JLZ”, the time was 61.8 seconds, leaving the third place prize to the Irish rider Shane Breen and the horse “Once Upon a Time”, and he finished the round in a time of 63.89 seconds.
Canadian equestrian Setareh Sadeghi and her horse “Alice” won the first place award in the “Joker” competition for collecting points. The course was designed with hurdles 110 cm high, and 57 male and female riders competed in it. 17 riders succeeded in collecting all the points (65 points), led by Setareh. The time difference was recorded at 42.79 seconds. The second place award was won by the Egyptian jockey Ali Ahmed Arafat and the mare “Finch”, and he completed the task of collecting all the points in a time of 43.29 seconds, and the third place award was won by the Syrian jockey Laith Gharib and the mare “Hare Ay Yam”, with a time of 43.52 seconds.
The emerging Syrian rider, Laith Gharib, completed a double with the horse “Here I Yam”, after winning the lead in the one-round competition over the 110 cm hurdles, with the participation of 54 male and female riders, and 17 of them completed the round without error, and the best time was recorded by the leader Gharib, which amounted to 40.16 seconds, and he was crowned with the position award. The second was the British equestrian “Noa Ben Ziff,” and she finished the round with the mare “Action” in a time of 40.74 seconds, and the third was the French equestrian Tatiana Polly and the mare “Cartier,” with a time of 42.97 seconds.
