The Trends Center for Research and Consulting pavilion at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair witnessed the signing of two partnership agreements with the Emirates Copyright Management Association and Wanly Publishing Solutions, as part of the Centre’s constant endeavor to enhance cooperation with various leading institutions and entities in the fields of knowledge, media and publishing.
“Trends” signed a partnership agreement with the Emirates Copyright Management Association, which aims to enhance cooperation between the center and the association in the field of publishing, including exchanging experiences and information, organizing joint events, and supporting relevant research and studies. It was signed by Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO. to “Trends”, and Mr. Mohammed bin Dukhain Al Matroushi, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors.
He also signed a second partnership agreement with Wanly Publishing Solutions, which aims to enhance cooperation between the center and the company in the field of digital publishing solutions, including developing and applying modern publishing technologies, and providing digital publishing services to authors and publishers. It was signed by Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends, and Mr. Mamdouh Waeli in his capacity as the owner of the company.
Spreading knowledge

Book launch
From the heart of the Trends Pavilion at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024, researcher Michael Knights, a Jill and Jay Fellow at the Washington Institute for Middle East Policy, who specializes in Gulf military and security affairs, launched his new book, “The Race to Mukalla – The War to Eliminate Al-Qaeda.”
Nice expressed his appreciation for Trends’ research role and for hosting him to launch his book, noting the role of scientific research in reading and documenting events.
New version
The “Trends” pavilion at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair witnessed the signing of a new book issued by the Trends Center under the title, “The Role of Civil Society and Community Participation in Enhancing Resilience and the Ability to Adapt to and Mitigate the Risks of Crises and Disasters.”
The book, prepared by Trends training expert Dr. Hisham Al-Manasir, provides an in-depth analysis of the role of civil society and community participation in responding to crises and disasters, with a focus on their ability to enhance resilience and the ability to adapt to risks.
In addition, many officials, researchers, academics, students, and the public continued to flock to the center’s pavilion, appreciating its purposeful knowledge efforts and its effective global presence.
