Best user experience. This is the prize won by Treccani Emporium, the eStore of the well-known institution of Italian knowledge, al Netcomm Award 2021, the award that every year enhances the most innovative projects in the field of eCommerce at national level.
Candidate in the categories Start up, User experience and Business Innovation, the Treccani project developed by ZeroGrey with the eCommerce platform Kooomo and with GreatPixel, who was responsible for the design of the customer journey and the design of the site, was appointed winner of the User Experience category for “having designed an ecommerce in a mobile first key and having built a graphic storytelling capable of fully enhancing the philosophy and historicity of the products” – was the motivation of the jury of the Netcomm Award 2021.
The Treccani Emporium site is, more than an eCommerce, a real marketplace. The eStore was launched in August 2020, using the technology of Kooomo, the latest generation SaaS platform, and the know-how of GreatPixel, all led by the ecommerce agency ZeroGrey. Divided into six sections – design & high craftsmanship, art, stationery, publishing, food and wine and training – this eStore hosts both Treccani brand products (valuable books, creations by Bottega Treccani, as well as t-shirts and notebooks, water bottles and pencils ) that the products of Italian excellence. On one condition, however: the brands for sale in the Emporium must have an entry in the Treccani encyclopedia. To date, over 200 Italian excellences have been included, including Brionvega, Paolo Castelli, Penne Aurora, Montegrappa, Ceramiche Gatti, Venini, Alma Charta, Tallone Editore.
