The rail service has managed to endure the first attacks of the fall of the electricity supply that records all of Spain this Monday but shortly after they have stopped working. From approximately one in the afternoon, the trains circulation is “stopped”, Sources of Adif have reported.
At the moment, sources from the State Manager of Railway Infrastructure is doing an “emergency evaluation” of how many trains remain in the tracks and how many passengers could go inside them.
A few minutes before 1 pm, Adif sources have reported that the blackout had finally ended up affecting traffic traffic. “Stop circulation”, have pointed out, just 10 minutes after a first impression on how the train was affecting the blackout resulted in “specific voltage losses” in the first moments, in which, however, the network worked.
On the other hand, air traffic has not been completely paralyzed, because airports are using structural groups to replace the ordinary electricity, according to Aena, which, however, has reported “incidents” in their airports and recommends passengers to consult with airlines.
