Trains | Damage that disrupted commuter train traffic on Sunday morning repaired, changes in K-train schedules still possible

The fault was due to electric track damage.

The electric rail damage that disrupted the commuter train traffic between Oulunkylä and Tikkurila on Sunday has been repaired, says the railway traffic center Fintraffic.

The I and K trains heading north did not stop in the morning in Pukinmäki, Malmi, Tapanila and Puistola. Due to the damage, trains between Oulunkylä and Tikkurila will have to use a platform without a platform.

Due to the disturbance, one commuter train was stuck at Pukinmäki station in the morning. K-train traffic will be reduced from nine o’clock onwards until all tracks are returned to normal use.
