“There are many people who are unaware of their potential and end up losing opportunities in the job market, which increasingly requires good personal marketing, knowing how to “sell the fish. Now, with the economic recovery, Elabora Itinerante will be fundamental for the generation of jobs”, said, in a note, the secretary of Economic Development, Labor and Tourism, Aline Cardoso.
During the pandemic period, the project’s workshops went online, broadcast on the website of the Support Center for Work and Entrepreneurship (Cate), on the social networks of the Municipal Secretariat for Economic Development, Labor and Tourism and the São Paulo City Hall Foundation Paulistana. About 10,000 people participated in the online workshops in one year and seven months.
“By taking our courses, the citizens come out prepared for the interviews and oriented about the job market. The city hall understands the importance of thinking about the future of work and the work of the future”, said the director general of Fundação Paulistana, Maria Eugenia Ruiz Gumie
Started in August 2019, the Elabora program was created by the Fundação Paulistana, linked to the Municipal Secretariat for Economic Development, Labor and Tourism of the City of São Paulo, as a tool for relocating citizens into the labor market.
