Juha-Pekka entered the Finnish co-educational school (SYK) in Helsinki by accident. On the first day of school in the fall, the teacher listed the names of the students in the class. Juha-Pekka’s name was not on the list.
It was a misunderstanding. Her mother had negotiated with the principal whether Juha-Pekka could transfer to SYK from her previous school, one of the most notorious in Helsinki.
