Portugal/ In-flight collision between two ultralights: one pilot dies
A pilot died and another is was injured after that two ultralight planes collided in mid-air during a demonstration at the Beja Air Show in southern Portugal. This was reported by the Air Force, specifying that the victim is a Spanish citizen. The accident involved six planes belonging to an aerobatic group composed of Spanish and Portuguese pilots called the “Yak Stars”.

A video shot by a spectator and published on social media shows the six planes in formation, one of which climbs, apparently touches one of the others and then crashes into the ground. The second one involved in the accident managed to land on the airport runway, without any casualties among the spectators.
