Tragedy at the Subsonica concert, the band breaks the silence: “We are deeply…”

Through a post on Instagram, Subsonica express their regret for the accident that occurred at the end of the concert held last night

Shortly after the sad event last evening, Friday 11 April, i Subsonic expressed their condolences for the death of Antonio Morra, 47 years old. The fatality would have occurred after a violent dispute on the occasion of the band's concert in Florence in the context of the 2024 “Augmented Reality” Tour. The news shocked many fans who, during the evening, had not even realized what had happened.

Through a post on Instagram, Subsonica express their regret for the accident that occurred at the end of the concert held last night at the Mandela Forum in Florence. The event is truly one of the most unexpected as well as those that occurred on an occasion of joy and celebration, precisely, a concert of Italian music.

This dramatic event it shocked not only the band members, but also the spectators present, turning what was supposed to be an evening of fun into a dramatic moment. An argument changed everything for the fans present at the evening. The group communicated their displeasure via social media. We read on the official Subsonica page:

We are deeply saddened by what happened last night. We express our closeness to the families of those involved in this extremely difficult moment.

According to initial information provided by the police, the brawl it would have started on the exit stairs of the Mandela Forum for trivial reasons, then turning into a violent clash. During the scuffle, Antonio Morra, present at the concert with his wife, reportedly suffered serious head injuries. There is video evidence documenting the event. It is likely that Morra was pushed down the stairs, and for this reason he suffered a serious head injury which proved fatal.

After the intervention of the emergency services called by the spectators, Morra was urgently transported to the Florentine hospital in Careggi, where he unfortunately died during the night. A concert finale that no one really wanted and which, due to a stupid argument, ruined the life of an entire family.
