Circle I's the tunnel in Leppävaara in Espoo will be closed for maintenance work for a few nights in January. The master tunnel is closed from 9th to 10th. and 16.–17. January from 0:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., says the city of Espoo in its announcement.
However, motorists are reminded that the closure depends on the weather. Due to bad weather forecast, the tunnel closure can be canceled at short notice.
“During the closures, traffic will be diverted via Turuntie and Mäkkylä puistotie. Mestarintunneli will be opened to traffic immediately after the work is finished,” the release advises.
