Toyota Yaris Cross lands on the Italian market. The Japanese car manufacturer has unveiled the market strategy of the new hybrid SUV in our country: we are talking about a compact crossover, built on the basis of Toyota’s GA-B platform, and which hides a hybrid powertrain based on the 116hp fourth generation Atkinson cycle 1.5 liter system which debuted on the standard new Yaris. Overall, the new Toyota Yaris Cross range has five trim levels.
At the base we find the set-up Active, which comes standard with 16 “alloy wheels, automatic climate control, LED fog lights, rain and dusk sensor, Toyota Touch 3 with 4 speakers, 8” screen, DAB and Smartphone Integration and rear view camera. The set-up appears immediately above Trend, which adds 17 “alloy wheels, full LED headlights, metallic paint, 7” digital instrumentation, Toyota Smart Connect with 6 speakers, 9 “screen, wireless Smartphone Integration with integrated Cloud Navi System and Smart Entry & Push Start. To the top of the range the remaining three settings appear: Lounge, devoted to comfort and with refined finishes, offers more than the Trend; Adventure, sportier version of the Japanese SUV equipped with 18 ″ alloy wheels, electrically folding mirrors, bi-tone paint and Outdoor aesthetics with front and rear moldings; and Premiere, with the richest equipment in terms of comfort and technology. With the exception of the Active trim level, in all other cases the Yaris Cross is offered with AWD-i intelligent all-wheel drive.
As for the prices, the introductory offer will be starting from 22,650 euros in case of exchange or scrapping thanks to the WeHybrid Bonus of 2,750 euros.
