Atlético Nacional looks for its seventeenth title in the Colombian league this Sunday (7 pm, Win Sports+) when it visits Deportes Tolima in the second leg of the finalwho despite having lost 3-1 in the first leg, refuses to give up and will fight in front of his fans.
The purslane, led by Hernán Darío ‘el Arriero’ Herrera, will try to maintain the difference and for this the strategist will have all his men, as the team reaches the final match without any player injured or suspended.
The Medellín team will thus try to break a five-year drought without winning the Colombian league, since the last time it did so was in the 2017 Opening Tournament when it was led by Reinaldo Rueda and beat Deportivo Cali in the final. Since then, the team had only played one final: the 2018 Opening Tournament in which they lost, precisely, to Deportes Tolima, which is why if they get the result expected by the coach and the fans, they will also get revenge. Nevertheless, the Ibagué team, coached by Hernán Torres, is aware that despite having fallen in Medellín there is nothing lost.
“This is not over. The difference is two goals, there are 90 minutes left,” Torres said, adding that his team has shown that “it does not win and does not give up.”
