A decimated Flamengo and a Tolima who still regret losing the final of the Colombian Apertura tournament will seek to leave their sorrows behind this Wednesday when they meet in the first leg of the 2022 Copa Libertadores round of 16.
The duel is played at the Manuel Murillo Toro stadium, where the pijao team lost the Apertura final against Atlético Nacional on Sunday.

Tolima is the first Colombian team to reach the round of 16 since Nacional did so in 2018. The greens were also the last to reach the quarterfinals, in 2016, the year they were crowned champions.
