The 28-year-old from South Tyrol had set the best time in the first run and in the second he was overtaken by the Latvian Kristers Aparjods and the German Johannes Ludwig. Compared to the winner, Fischnaller pays only 39 thousandths of a gap, while Ludwig’s second place is at fifteen thousandths. For the carabiniere it is the 33rd career podium. “I had a really good first heat, almost a dream, – he said at the end -.
