Kolkata: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Saturday alleged that the BJP is bringing in officials from outside before the West Bengal assembly elections as its central leadership does not trust local leaders.
TMC MP Kakali Ghosh Dastidar while addressing a press conference at the party headquarters said that the BJP has opened a factory to fabricate lies, which are spread through its propaganda machinery.
Dastidar, MP from Barasat Lok Sabha constituency, said, ‘The central leadership of the BJP is bringing in office bearers from other states as it does not trust the local leadership.’
In view of the elections to be held in April-May 2021, the BJP has divided the state into five organizational areas and appointed central leaders in charge of it.
Senior TMC leader Dastidar said, ‘BJP does not have any leader in Bengal while the state has given the country’s best Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. They have no match. He said that BJP has a factory to prepare lies and these lies are spread through its propaganda machinery. However, he did not give any specific example of this.
