This is the second lowest percentage decrease, only higher than that registered in Andalusia, the only community in which unemployment increased
The labor market in the Region of Murcia continues to resist the ravages of the rebellious economic situation that is generating triggered inflation. In the month of June, the Community registered 319 fewer unemployed, 89,650 in total, so the number of unemployed remains below 90,000, a milestone that was reached in the month of May for the first time in 14 years.
This is a decrease of 0.35% very similar to that which occurred in June last year, when the Region of Murcia accounted for 349 fewer unemployed. However, it is the second lowest relative drop by communities, only higher than those registered in Andalusia (+0.84). At the national level, the data published this Monday by the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) reflects 42,409 fewer unemployed, a drop of 1.45% that places the total figure at 2,880,582 unemployed.
By sectors, the main decrease occurred in services, where 509 fewer unemployed were registered, 58,774 in total; followed by industry, with 205 fewer; and construction, with 98 fewer. On the other hand, unemployment increased in the agricultural sector, with 481 more unemployed, and in the section of those without a previous job, where it increased by a dozen.
