Donald Trump once again accuses the Democrats of “rampant fraud.” After a victory in the 2024 US election, he wants to take tough action.
Washington, DC – Donald Trump let his anger run wild. The former US president accused the Democrats of “rampant fraud” and “trickery”. This time, however, he toughened his rhetoric and threatened serious consequences if he returned to the White House. He made it clear that then the time for retaliation would have come.
“If I win, the people who cheated will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, including long prison sentences, to ensure that this corruption of justice is not repeated,” he posted on the online platforms Truth Social and X. He was referring to the election four years ago, in which he lost to current President Joe Biden. However, he has never accepted that defeat. In the run-up to the US election in November, Trump has again denounced “election fraud.”
Trump threatens retaliation after the 2024 US election
Trump again claimed that the Democrats had cheated “rampantly” in the election four years ago, even though various courts have examined such allegations and rejected them as unfounded. Trump described the events at that time as a disgrace for the country.
The US election in November would therefore be under “the strictest professional scrutiny”. “We cannot allow our country to degenerate any further into a third world country, AND WE WILL NOT!” He added: “Those involved in unscrupulous behaviour will be tracked down, caught and prosecuted on a scale that has unfortunately never been seen in our country before.”
Trump sees electoral fraud everywhere – including in the 2024 US election in November
Trump had already warned of possible “election fraud” shortly before. In a speech on Friday (September 6), the former president claimed that the Democrats could only win in November through fraud and manipulation. “Watch out for election fraud. Because we will win without election fraud,” he said. “We will win clearly.”
