Agreement signed between Mediaset and TIM to distribute Mediaset Infinity on TIMVISION
Comes from Mediaset and from TIM the communication of having signed a multi-year agreement for the non-exclusive distribution of the app Mediaset Infinity on the platform TIMVISION.
The partnership, active from tomorrow July 1st, will last for three years. As stated in the press release issued by TIM, “TIMVISION customers will be given dedicated offers to subscribe to the Mediaset Infinity service, structured in a pyramid: a large content base that ensures free viewing of the best of Mediaset programs and a summit with a high-quality selection of on-demand movies and TV series, plus 104 matches of UEFA Champions League per season ”, to which are added the seventeen games available in clear on Channel 5.
This type of collaboration represents an important step forward in the innovation process of the Italian television market and, in particular, in the sector of sports content available online. “Through this agreement we also want to give a further impulse to the adoption of ultra-broadband and accelerate the digitization process of the country”, continues the statement.
The newly formed partnership with Mediaset Infinity configure TIMVISION as the most complete streaming content platform to date, thanks to numerous agreements signed in recent years with giants such as Netflix, Disney +, Discovery + and Prime Video, to which is added the most recent with DAZN, which will allow the TIM platform to distribute its service, which includes all the matches of the championships of Serie A TIM up to season 2023-2024.
