“Lightyear” came to theaters under controversy and after being banned in 14 countries due to a scene showing a kiss between two women. This has caused the worldwide box office collection to be affected.
Although this scene was supported by Disney and by Chris Evans, who lends the voice to the space guardian, it seems that the actor Tim Allenwho gave the toy a voice in “toy story”, I would not be entirely happy with the new animated film.

Tim Allen disapproves of “Lightyear”
The actor known for starring in the 1998 film “Santa Clause” revealed, during an interview with ExtraTV, what he thought about the new adaptation of the toy to which he gave voice in the “Toy Story” franchise.
”This is a completely new team, which really had nothing to do with the first four movies”.
The 69-year-old actor revealed that upon hearing that a live-action Buzz Lightyear was being made, he thought it would be with “real humans, not something animated.”
“There’s really no Buzz from Toy Story without Wood,” he continued. “I’m not sure what the idea is, I’m a plot guy. It would seem to be a great adventure story, and from what I see, it’s not a great adventure story. It’s a wonderful story it just doesn’t seem to have any connection to the toy. She has no relationship with Buzz”.
“Lightyear” hit theaters on June 16 and serves as a prequel to 1995’s “Toy Story.”

Who is the villain of Buzz Lightyear?
Like the “Toy story” saga, “Lightyear” includes Zurg as its main antagonist. However, contrary to what fans remember from the parent franchise, this time they reveal to us that under the robotic suit is Buzz himself, but in his version of a sinister future.
