It was a game that felt tired, and at times, boring. Not at all what was expected of both sets. The first half was tense and without much intensity. Refereeing errors (surprise), since a penalty was not scored against Katty Martínez at minute ’10. He had to leave at 13 to give his place to Fernanda Elizondo, as a precaution. The visitors were generating and proposing more, and at ’30 Elizondo was knocked down in the area and now they have scored the maximum penalty. From eleven steps, Nancy Antonio scored with elegance and class.
In the second half, Chivas began to generate much more, and if they did not find a door in those first minutes it was thanks to the stick that stopped their plans. Round trip, and another penalty did not mark Tigres. The Chore made changes that helped the team. And Medina missed locals and strangers by taking out Fer Elizondo. Another unmarked penalty. And a tremendous error by Miriam García, who had entered the exchange, left the ball to Licha who did not forgive and tied the game.
In the end, the points were divided and Tigres could not maintain the winning streak in a season that seemed historic. Neither team did much damage, and although there were goals, the claw football that the two tend to propose was surprised.
What did you think of the game? Left to duty?
