The first appointment is with the magical and historic Imola, scheduled from 19 to 21 May, before the Formula 1 circus lands in Monza from 1 to 3 September for a high-revving race in the Temple of Speed.
For the first time this year, sales for these historic races opened together, which means that tickets are already available.
The Formula 1 Grand Prix of Emilia Romagna will take place on May 21 on the extraordinary circuit of Imola. Being only the sixth round of the very long 2023 season, the teams and riders will still be battling for early season form.
The 2023 race will be the fourth at Imola since the circuit returned to the calendar in 2020. Lewis Hamilton has won one edition and Max Verstappen two, and this year they will be looking to add one to their palmarès.

In September, then, the second Italian race will take place in the iconic Monza circuit for the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix.
Monza has developed a penchant for surprise results in recent years: the last five editions have seen five different winners, including breathtaking victories by Pierre Gasly for Alpha Tauri and Daniel Ricciardo for McLaren.
Local fans hope their beloved Ferrari returns to victory after a less than brilliant 2022 season for the Prancing Horse.
