In the department of Savoy in France, a light tourist plane crashed. About it informs Le Parisien newspaper citing the local prefecture.
The incident took place in a mountainous area near the town of Saint-Colomban-de-Villars. The crash killed three people. One of the passengers managed to jump out of the falling aircraft; now he is in a hospital in serious condition.
“The circumstances of the accident are currently unknown and will be determined as part of a judicial investigation,” the prefecture said. The crashed plane belonged to the flying club, which is based in the Loire-Atlantique department.
On July 21, it became known that a passenger plane had crashed in southern Somalia. The aircraft took off from the Kenyan capital Nairobi and crashed while landing at El Wak airport in the Gedo area. There were 45 passengers on board, all of them survived.
