Vienna, Austria.- Thousands of people -12,000 according to the organizers- They called this Friday in Vienna for more measures to be taken to fight the climate crisiswithin a global call of the Fridays for Future movement.
“In Vienna 12,000 people have taken to the streets to call for a change towards sustainable energy. An eco-social plan is finally needed to stop the spiral of crisis caused by fossil fuels“, assured one of the spokespersons of the march in the Austrian capital.
This movement ensures that in the protests held in Austria, where, in addition to Vienna, there were concentrations in six other regional capitals, a total of 20,000 people gathered.
In Vienna, demonstrators marched through the city center, near the area where the seat of the Government and the Presidency are located, launching proclamations in favor of “climate justice” and alternative energies.
