Those affected by DANA will be able to defer their electricity and gas bills until 2026

Those affected by DANA, who are in the municipalities of Royal Decree-Law 6/2024, will be able defer your bills electricity and gas until December 31. This is reflected in the new aid package that the Government announced this Monday.

Customers may request from their marketer, or, where applicable, their distributor, the suspension of payment of invoices of electricity that correspond to billing periods that contain days from the previous period.

Regarding natural gasconsumers may request their marketer to defer payment of the amount of invoices issued for collection, for a volume of energy equal to or less than the energy consumed in the same received from the previous year.

Likewise, the new standard guarantees the supply of electrical energy and petroleum products. Along these lines, consumers will be able to change companies without any type of penalty.
