This translates into a significant decrease in operational expenses for self -schools.
From the point of view of sustainability, the acquisition of Renault 5 E-E-E-Tech in front of an equivalent thermal vehicle would avoid the emission of up to 4,500 kg of CO2 per year in its use, also promoting among the students a cleaner and more responsible mobility.
Taking into account that Racc Star self -schools have a fleet of more than 350 vehicles, the dictation potential reaches 1,575 tons of CO2 per year.
To boost electric mobility also in self-school, Renault will offer exclusive conditions to incorporate Renault 5 E-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-Tech into the fleets of the more than 70 RACC START centers. This announcement was made at the annual franchisee convention that the RACC has organized in the Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya.

Auto -school cars are designed with special characteristics that differentiate them from conventional vehicles. These adaptations are made to improve security during learning and to facilitate the work of the instructor.
The most distinctive feature is the double pedal game (clutch, brake and accelerator). This allows the instructor to intervene in case of emergency or to correct student errors. In the case of electric vehicles, there is no clutch pedal. In this case there is a driving license that enables only for driving vehicles with automatic change. This permit is a variant of permission B, the conventional car leave. Who gets this permit is only authorized to drive vehicles with automatic change.
Auto -school cars usually have an additional interior rearview mirror for the instructor, which provides a complete vision of the traffic situation. In some cases, self -school cars may have additional controls for the instructor, such as switches to control lights or flashing.
