A quota of 100 55-year-olds is established to benefit from the ERE, preferably in Murcia and Alicante
Banco Sabadell’s management reached a preliminary agreement with the unions in which the departure of a minimum of 1,380 workers is contemplated within the framework of the Employment Regulation File (ERE) raised by the entity, according to union sources present in the negotiation. The same sources explain that the ERE figure is 1,605 affected, although once 1,380 employees are reached “it would be terminated.” Thus, the figure initially proposed by the entity of 1,936 exits was lowered to a minimum of 1,380, an affectation close to the one proposed during these days by CC OO of 1,300 workers.
The preliminary agreement also includes an improvement in the economic conditions of exit. Specifically, the Sabadell management improved its early retirement proposal for those workers aged 55 or over and who have at least 10 years of seniority. Thus, they will maintain 65% of the annual salary with a ceiling of up to 280,000 euros for the group between 58 and 62 years old, and a ceiling of 300,000 euros for the group between 55 and 57 years old.
In addition, a quota of 100 55-year-olds is established to benefit from the ERE, preferably in Murcia and Alicante. Regarding paid leave, the age was established for those under 54, who will be entitled to compensation of 40 days per year worked with a maximum of 30 monthly payments, in addition to various premiums for years of seniority.
Leaves of three years have been included, which will receive 25% of the annual salary with a readmission of 25 kilometers. In case of not being accepted, the compensation would be in accordance with the measures contemplated in early retirement or low, according to their age range. For these leaves of absence, there would be a quota of 75 people. On the other hand, forced geographical mobility will be limited to 50 people “as long as vacancies are not filled voluntarily”, while mobility due to center closures will be limited to a maximum of 100 kilometers or one hour of displacement. .
