The final of the Concachampions between Monterrey and America is getting closer and closer. The duel between Rayados and Águilas looks to be one marked by intensity and good football. These are two of the most complete and strongest squads in Mexican soccer. To start engines for this duel that will take place on October 28 at the Steel Giant, it is important to remember some of the antecedents of these teams in the competition.
Both teams have the Concacaf Champions League title on their track record. The Eagles are the most winning team in the confederation and have seven championships in their showcases. The capital team has a two-time championship. In the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 seasons, America managed to lift the Concachampions cup.
