Culiacán, Sinaloa.- The city of Culiacanhas gone through many transformations from its foundation several centuries ago, however some of its roads such as the Alvaro Obregon Avenue They still keep part of their historical essence.
Although now this route that crosses the city from side to side is characterized by being the main avenue that is taken to go to different sectors of the entity quickly, a few years ago the Álvaro Obregón it lacked infrastructure as evidenced by some photographs that are still preserved from those times.
One of these old pictures dates from the year 1970 and was shared through portals for the purchase and sale of collectibles. In the photograph you can see the avenue captured from the central part. In addition to this, some buildings of the time can be seen, which are unknown if they are still standing because the image does not offer more details of the location where the postcard was taken.
Other photographs also show the avenue, Álvaro Obregón years ago and unlike the current ones, in this one you can see rural aspects.

This image was captured from the steps of the Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, known in Culiacán as “La Lomita”, one of the iconic places in the city and one of the most visited today.
