A training session
Between Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th Januarythe Lusitanian route of Portimao will host a training session with road bikes of the MotoGP riders (mainly Ducati), to rediscover the feeling with the asphalt in view of the official tests of the premier class which will begin on February 6th from Sepang.
All the Borgo Panigale standard bearers will therefore be present, as well as the officials Francesco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianinito those of the Prima Pramac team Jorge Martin and Franco Morbidellito the Gresini Alex and Marc Marquezto end at VR46 Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio.
The intruders
It's no secret that three of the eight Ducati riders belong to the VR46 Academy, but they won't be the only members of the 'Rossi clan' to take to the track.
In fact, there will also be Luca Marini – who will race with Honda HRC in 2024 – but also, surprisingly, Valentino Rossthe. The Italian MotoGP legend, at almost 45 years of age (he will turn 16 on February 16) will get on the saddle of a Yamaha R1 road and will train with the other riders in Portimao.
Rossi, ambassador of the Japanese brand after retiring from two wheels, will have fun and prepare his season in the car, in view of the Bathurst 12 Hours in mid-February.
