This Sunday, Atlético Bucaramanga reached its first final in short tournaments and the second in its history in the first division. Their 3-1 victory against Deportivo Pereira, added to Junior’s 2-0 defeat against Millonarios, allowed them to secure their qualification.
This Wednesday, the championship’s Disciplinary Committee issued the sanction bulletin for the last day of the semi-final home runs and Moreno got it cheap: they applied the lowest penalty established by the code.
The Pereira player will have to pay just two suspension dates and a fine of 563 thousand pesos for “violent conduct against an opponent.”
What does the FCF Disciplinary Code say?
As Pereira was eliminated from the grand final, Moreno will have to pay his punishment in the first two dates of the next championship.
Bucaramanga will play for the 2024-I League title against Independiente Santa Fe. The first leg will be this Saturday at 7:30 pm, at the Alfonso López stadium. The second leg will be played a week later, at the same time.
