The catalog of Dragon Ball villains is extensive. From robots, through criminal organizations, to Gods of destruction. However, not many are as iconic as the Red Patrol. In this way, many were happy when they saw that this team will return in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Now, a producer of this film has revealed why this particular danger was chosen.
In a panel for the upcoming release of this film, Akio Iyoku, the producer of Dragon Ball Super: Super Herorevealed why the Red Patrol is back, especially considered that Goku destroyed this organization in the original anime of dragon balland the last we saw of them was Doctor Gero in Dragon Ball Z. This was what he commented:
“The way we ended up deciding whether or not to include the Red Patrol was that we first talked about how we wanted the battle to play out on Earth. So when we decided to fight on Earth, we started saying, ‘Once, there was a Red Patrol,’ and we thought about what a battle against an army might look like, not just one on one. Everyone in the military has their own motivations and way of thinking, including Magenta and Carmine.
So we thought that because not everyone thinks the same way, we could paint a picture of an interesting antagonist, and that’s how we ended up deciding on the Red Patrol.”
In this way, it is clear that we will see more than just a couple of Androids by the Red Patrol. With this, it has also been confirmed that this story takes place mainly on Earthwith Gohan and Piccolo as the defenders on duty.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will be released in Japan on April 22, and it is expected that sometime in 2022 it will be available in the West. On related topics, here is the new trailer for the tape. Similarly, dragon ball fighter z It’s coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC tomorrow.
