In La Liga, on matchday 13, Atlético de Madrid was the leader of the competition, with four points difference against Real Sociedad and Real Madrid, Barcelona was fourth, seven points behind the leader, Villarreal, Sevilla and Granada closed the European positions being quite close to Barcelona. Atlético was the one who ended up winning La Liga.
In the Premier League, Spurs and Liverpool shared the top spot in the table with 24 points, only five goals apart. From here only one point differentiated the other teams: Chelsea with 22, Leicester 21, Southampton 20, Manchester United 19 and Manchester City seventh with 18 points. From here the City chained a good run of results that ended up winning the Premier League.
In Germany the Bundesliga was led by Bayern Munich with 30 points followed by Leverkusen and Leipzig with 28 points, Wolfsburg followed with 24 and the surprise came when Borussia Dortmund was fifth with 22 points. The Berlin Union closed the European positions with 21 points. Bayern ended up taking the title once again.
In Serie A, Milan dominated the standings with 28 points, followed by Inter who was just one point behind. More off the hook were Naples, Juventus and Roma tied at 24 points and in sixth position Sassuolo closed the European positions. Inter ended up winning Serie A.
To close, Ligue 1 was led by PSG with 28 points, Olympique de Marseille followed closely with 27, while Lille and Lyon tied at 26 points. Lens was the one who closed the European positions. By surprise for all, Lille won Ligue 1 ahead of PSG of Neymar and Mbappé.
