Yesterday the Civil Guard ended the search for the missing in Letur, the town of Albacete where the passage of the DANA has left six lifeless bodies found, the last one this Wednesday.
The Armed Institute has published a video on its official channels showing how its troops rescue one of the bodies that were missing and They transport him in a helicopter to be able to remove him from the affected area, full of mud and branches and, therefore, difficult to access.
Although the six bodies that were sought have been rescued, the emergency device has not been deactivated, given that there are still three bodies to be identified and there is still no “reliable certainty that they are the six, the six people from Letur who disappeared”, since “it is very remote, but it could happen that now we find someone that we did not have control over and who was near the river, on the rambla”, according to Pedro Antonio Ruiz Santos, delegate of the Junta de Castilla. La Mancha in Albacete.
“Bad news, but we must continue looking to the future and continue working, first of all, accompanying the families through pain and continuing to work for Letur’s recovery,” Ruiz Santos concluded.
